Detailed Narrative Description of Project:
The major objective of the project was to to undertake Forest Conditions assessment to determine threats to the forests and undertake management effectiveness assessment to determine how management actions have contributed or are contributing to the conservation of the forests. Further undertook reassessment to determine how project activities have contributed to enhancing the management and conservation of the forest
Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by your Staff:
Establish forests condition monitoring transects
Evaluate the condition of the forests by assessing the level of tree and pole cutting
Assess threats to the forests through Threat Reduction Assessment (TRA)
Undertake Management Effectiveness Assessment (METT) to determine how management has contributed to conservation of the forests
